Because I am a Hip Young Thing on the Streets

So today I was doing an interview about what fashion blog readers want to know and what young women that are engaged, fashion conscious, trendy, cosmopolitan and of a certain age are into and I was drawing a blank. I was like hmmmm what are we into and what do I blog about? Fortunetly I am at Lotus Cafe on Clinton and Stanton in the L.E.S which is like ground zero for urban hip kids and their fashion choices.

All I had to do was whip out my digital camera (while I was on the phone I might add) and see what I shot. That really jogged my memory. Turns out we all wear American Apparel, A.P.C and Rem Koolhas Mobius sandals which really I should have known since well I have blogged about and wear American Apparel and Rem Koolhas shoes and have vented about the skinny jean trend that won’t die.

Now compare and constrast our various Mobius sandals (sadly I wore Michaels Kors today, just purchased at Century 21 but don’t they look cute with my white skirt?)

And while I hate for this to be true satine short shorts, tank tops, and cowboy boots still rule the L.E.S

And that completes my trend spotting segment for the day.

Yes, they do look cute with your white skirt.

When I do come across someone who is wearing shoes – especially cute shoes – I am thrilled to the bone.  I bet if I were in New York, I would spend more time looking at people’s feet than anything!…
